Could use more stone block and less random logs but looks good

2013-10-17T15:39:26+00:00

Cool design. The indentions in it really bring it out. Only thing that bothers me is the stone block in the pillars.

Since most of you think I'm a dick for what I said, I decided to justify it

-The materials used cobble stone some trunks, stone half-slabs and a amount of stone bricks, I can infer that the cobble is left over from mining trips he has been too lazy to turn into bricks,
-the random stone bricks look out of place
-I would suggest using spruce instead of oak, oak is just not in theme with the cobble
-no attempt at manipulating the surroundings which would enhance the castle
-that biome has a horrible shade of grass
-not thought out, the castle looks a little bit last minute, as that 'room on stilts' would clearly make a wonderful balcony
-no grand entrance, castles must have a clear, easy to defend entrance, it must be bold
-you place selfish blocks, (you have not thought much about how blocks look like near others)

+its some distance above ground, somewhat harder to break into
+it has a hill to cover it
+the ivy helps it look a little be better

Now considering your bragging, its nowhere near the work of jester or antmittens, who mind you have done excellent according to this same criteria, also I must say my old faction home according to this criteria is horrible, (I didn't make it) I had plans for fully refurbrishing
It, but alas that will probbally never be done as its a thing of my past.

BK, this is the creations section, if you post here expect critisism, at the very least I have showed why I dislike it

P.S. 'spams the chat' that is irelevent to the current topic, and therefore spam itself, stop trying start a flame with me

ranger5421t thought so, too. Worst part of the build

Here's a few tips:
Jungle biomes have nice grass, forests have a OK shade
Extreme hills and swamps have HORRIBLE DISGUSTING GRASS
To cover up horrible grass I recommend creating and releasing 50 snowmen per day till its fixed xD

Ryan i'd think you can see that the castle here is in extreme hills xD

Just sayin .

I don't mind the build at all, i like the shape it has, the cobble works here however I'd try to accent it a bit more is all.

Good first start
